Dental Cleanings and Exam
Professional dental cleanings are an important part of your routine dental check-ups. Stinauer Family Dentistry recommends a cleaning and an exam every 6 months. It is our goal to make these appointments as comfortable as possible while catering to the specific needs of each patient. Learn more.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
Digital x-rays provide the most detailed images of your teeth allowing for the best diagnostic capability for the dentist. The sensors are smaller than ever making them more comfortable for the patients and the radiation is far less than traditional dental x-rays. We also have the capability to take panoramic x-rays to evaluate wisdom teeth.
root canals
A toothache occurs when the nerve of the tooth is breached by dental decay or if a tooth becomes necrotic (dead) resulting in an abscess. If there is enough tooth structure remaining, a root canal is indicated to save that tooth. The nerve is accessed, cleaned, and filled to prevent future infection. Following a root canal, a crown is placed over the tooth for protection.
PREVENTATIVE CARE
The most important factor influencing good dental health is early prevention. When dental decay (cavity) is found, the dentist and patient will go over all available options to restore the tooth. The decision is based on the size and location of the decay. Composite fillings, dental crowns/bridges, implant crowns, and veneers are common restorations used frequently at Stinauer Family Dentistry. Learn more.
cosmetic dentristry
Dentistry is an art form and some of our favorite cases are smile makeovers. Bonding, veneers, and crowns are the typical restorations used to restore teeth in the esthetic zone. There is no better satisfaction than restoring a patient’s self-confidence with a bright new smile!
dentures & partials
When a patient is missing multiple or all of their teeth, dentures can be a good option for tooth replacement. Partial dentures replace some missing teeth by relying on support from the remaining teeth in the arch while complete dentures replace all of the teeth in an arch. Implant dentistry has added tremendous new treatment options for patients missing teeth or already wearing dentures.

extractions
Stinauer Family Dentistry completes simple, surgical, and wisdom tooth extractions at all three locations. When a tooth cannot be restored due to a severe crack, periodontal disease, or extensive tooth decay it needs to be carefully removed. Impacted wisdom teeth may require a referral to a trusted oral surgeons office.
PEDIATRIC / CHILD DENTISTRY
Starting at the age of 3, it is recommended your child sees a dentist every 6 months. Stinauer Family Dentistry will treat children of all ages with a variety of services. We encourage children to come into our office with their parents to get comfortable with the surroundings. Our goal is to have your child look forward to coming to the dentist.
